Yes, you can mine from any pool, but we recommend Slush Pool since it is the only one with a 0% fee for miners using this firmware.
We charge a 2-2.5% dev fee (depending on the hardware model). It is up to you which pool you draw the remaining 97.5-98% with. Note that the dev fee is never exactly the specified percentage of your total hashing power, as this number always changing in real-time when you are mining. However, it will always remain within a fixed tolerance.
When you enter your desired power consumption in Watts, our proprietary algorithms automatically calibrate the frequencies on each hashing chip to maximize hash rate.
To achieve the maximum possible increase in hashrate enabled you will need to increase your power consumption (W).
If you want to maximize efficiency instead of hash rate, you simply input a lower power limit (W) and it will automatically maximize the hash rate at the given power level. In general, the highest efficiency (i.e. the best ratio of TH/s to W) is achieved with low W inputs.
The tuning takes between 2 and 6 hours to complete, depending on the specified power limitations and the quality of the chips in your equipment. If the frequency and voltage does not change and you cannot see the word “ADJUST” in the system log, the tuning has been completed.
